Michael Quoia

Michael Quoia partners with CEOs, founders, CHROs, and senior executives to accelerate leadership readiness, scale talent, and build high-performing, aligned teams. Based in the San Francisco Bay area, he brings deep expertise in executive assessment, top team effectiveness, succession planning, and executive coaching. Michael’s work spans early-stage startups, high-growth scale-ups, mid-sized enterprises, and Fortune 500 companies, allowing him to tailor leadership strategies across the full company lifecycle.

With a cross-industry client base—including technology, financial services, healthcare, industrial, and consumer sectors—Michael also advises venture capital and private equity investors on talent strategy for their portfolio companies. His work with startup founders and roles with global enterprises give him a unique ability to bridge the needs of emerging and established organizations.

Michael was previously a partner at RHR International, Russell Reynolds Associates, TMG, and Heidrick & Struggles. He began his career at McKinsey & Company and served as an officer in the United States Navy.

He holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, a master’s degree in education from the Stanford University School of Education, and a bachelor’s degree in systems engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy. He is also certified as a coach by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
